This is a very nice Lefton Rose Chintz teapot. It's the older Rose Chintz with the pink leaves in the background, and is marked Lefton China Hand Painted 911R. Perfect condition, with no chips cracks, crazing or stains. There are a couple of very minor typical factory flaws, i.e, a tiny brown open bubble on the top of the knob, and a very small patch of stray greenish transfer on the the white inside the handle. The gold trim is very nice with only traces of wear. I'd say the gold is about 98%. This is a large teapot that holds about 38 oz when filled to the top. 9 3/8" spout to handle and all to the top of the finial.
