Coronet Limoges Celery Dish Roses & Heavy Gold
This is a beautiful Coronet Limoges porcelain celery tray, made for Georges Borgfeldt in the very early 1900's. The piece has a nice Rococo style scalloped edge and embossed tab handles on the ends. If you look closely, you will see that the multi-colored roses are mostly a decal transfer with some hand painted highlights. The deign is VERY detailed and colorful. The piece as heavy gold trim that is in excellent condition with almost no wear. This is a fairly large celery at 12 1/4" the long way and 6" the short way. About 2 1/4" deep at the ends.
