Large Bronze runner on lacquered wood Bombay contoured base with ormolu mountings. A fine bronze replica of the original, now mounted on a 19th-century formal plinth. The right arm shows restoration from an earlier time and casting techniques are seen in the joins in the thighs and biceps. The figures bear the signs of the early 19th century in the detailed finishing of the toe and finger nails, also the added fig leaf has been removed.
The size is 21" tall on a base 2.75" tall and a base of 15.5" by 7.5"
The condition is good with noted old repair.
