Finely carved Spanish or Italian gilt and polychrome reliquary. Saint-Constant Martyr 777 A.D. Irish saint. Finely and elaborately carved figure with relic chamber in mid-chest. The size is 19" tall and 10" by 5.2"deep. Marked to the front St. Constant M (Martyr). Circa 16th century - 17th century Spanish or Italian.
In good condition, solid one piece of wood forms the body and brackets.
