This gorgeous pair of Edwardian cluster earrings are set with a stunning pair of vibrant zircons. The blue is almost turquoise like the sea and the vibrance of the stones is exceptional. Zircons have a high double refraction therefore giving them such brilliance and life. The zircons are surrounded by 18 small single cut diamonds, the single cut is typical for the period of the earrings. Each diamond is approximately 0.02pts giving an approximate total weight for both earrings of 0.72pts. The diamonds are vary white and they have a good clarity. The zircons weigh approximately 1.10ct each. All the gemstone have been set in a fine quality mill grain style setting. The metal has been acid tested as platinum, again typical for the period of the earrings. The earrings are a little unusual as they have screw back fittings, they are very good if you do not have your ears pierced. The fittings can be changed if necessary, to a post and butterfly for pierced ears. The earrings are approximately 11mm in diameter. The earrings are English and dated Circa 1910.
