Offered for sale is a pair of colorless 19th C Continental blown and cut glass wine stems. Below each rim, each bowl has a cut glass border of circles, each circle separated from its neighbor by a 3-line “wheat sheath” motif. Each bowl is then uncut for 1 1/2” to a series of 12 faceted teardrops. These are above 6 half-diamond facets which lead down to the multi-faceted stems. The lowest facets on each stem end on the base as a teardrop, after which each base flares slightly without decoration to its rim. Both glasses are in very good, as made, condition.
