This excellent condition vintage dress was made in the 1940s. The gown is made out of a sheer nylon material, is hand-stitched, and does not have a tag. The chest is a ruched peasant style, with a wide neckline and puffed sleeves. The sleeves have smocking that create a puffed shoulder effect. The over skirt is sheer, but there is a full silk slip attached underneath in a matching color. The torso is fully lined and the bodice is double layered with the sheer nylon fabric. It has a left side metal zipper. The gown is in great vintage condition except for a small tear on the hem of the dress (less than 1/2") and some small pinholes around where the princess seams had been taken in and let out in the back. There is a closeup of this in the pictures and we can send more photos if you ask. Please consult the measurements prior to purchasing.
