This beautiful Art Deco pendant is so delicate and elaborately detailed. It dates to the 1920s and is made of 14k White Gold and Yellow Gold. The pendant was originally from an Art Deco bar pin that was converted into a drop pendant. It would look lovely worn on a yellow gold or a white gold chain, whatever your preference. The center of the pendant is white gold with 5 central square cut sapphires. They measure approximately 3 mm and are channel set. The sapphires are flanked by 5 round cut diamonds on the top and 5 round cut diamonds on the bottom. They measure 3 mm and are secure in their prong settings. Framing the diamonds and sapphires, there is beautiful filigree work. The top and bottom of the white gold portion of the pendant both contain 5 smaller round cut diamonds which are prong set and measure about 1.5 mm each. The entire white gold portion is framed by etched yellow gold. There is a yellow gold bail at the top of the pendant that also has some decorative etching on the front. The back is stamped 14K. The total length of the pendant is 76 mm, including the bail. The pendant measures 13 mm at its widest part. It weighs 8.7 grams.
