Collect, wear as a wedding dress, perfect for a gala, or for an extremely special prom the stress won't last long in our shop! Can't you just picture Elizabeth Taylor wearing this going to the Oscars? One of the few rare Elizabeth Arden dresses we have ever seen this white tool down is exceptional. The tool is actually printed in some areas with leaves and organza ribbon is stitched and circular patterns creating three dimensional flowers. The bodice of the piece is very intricately made with ties around the umpire line and waistline. There are snaps in the fabric to help the tool cover the zipper as well. The entire bodice also has boning so it will retain the structure when worn. The voluminous skirt is sewn in panels and has a very full colonel in that is attached. The back of the gown is very slightly longer than the front. Along the hemline a few of the flowers need to be re-stitched approximately 2 to 3 inches long. This is photographed. Also approximately 6 inches up from the hemline there is a 6 inch tear in the white tool around one of the flowers. This could very easily be repaired by a skilled seamstress and it is also very easy to disguise. We have not cleaned this piece at all and the hemline of the attached slip has some soiling but the dress has no odor of smoke or mold. Because of the construction the bodice is very tight, with no stretch, but the hip is very full, and would fit anyone. It is shown on a size 4 dress form.
