This sweet vintage purse is pale green in color and has a unique motif woven into it of marching colonial soldiers with rifles accompanied by generals on horses segmented by cannons next to cannonballs. The purse is by Henri Betrix of Madison Avenue and the interior is just as lovely as the exterior. The top of the purse is 9 inches wide and it extends to approximately 11 inches wide towards the bottom. Without handle it is 8 inches tall and expands 3 1/2 inches on the sides. The handle is attached with gold tone finish and rotate back-and-forth like a clutch. The gold tone hardware has some scrapes to the coloring, but it does work very well. Inside you will find a pink taffeta material with segmented pockets and a zippered one for safekeeping. We have not cleaned this piece at all and as you can see it has very minor wear from age. All of the piping is in good condition, including the corners. We just love the scalloped front of the flap. Please be sure to check out our other items for sale.
