It doesn't get any better than this. This is a very early vintage Norman Norell dress with the original style number hand written and hand stitched into the dress next to his label. there is also a label that reads "front" on the waist band. I have not steamed or pressed this dress because I do not want to ruin the pleats. A professional can do it correctly. The dress is a marvel of pleats, and closures. The sleeves are just incredible. The lining skirt has a separate zipper than the actual dress. In the back the pleated portion near the zipper is about 4 inches longer, it tucks under the bodice and snaps into place so the pleated skirt has a fluid line, instead of being cut off at the waist line where the zipper is. The dress has had only one owner and is in very good condition.
It is an approximate size 6, but please view the measurements and let me know if you have any questions.
