This wedge doorstop is in the shape of a covered wagon being pulled by a pair of oxen driven by a man walking next to the front wheel. It has a Spencer Foundry mark on the back and has the Spencer style notched wedge as well. The paint is original and shows some chipping and wear especially on the mans arm and on the wagon cover. Spencer Foundry began making doorstops in 1919 and went out of business in 1957. This is an uncommon original doorstop.
