This carnival glass compote was made by Fenton in their wreath of roses pattern. It is made of clear glass with marigold iridescence. There is a wide ribbed pattern on the outside of the bowl which continues through the stem and on to the foot. The ribs are twisted slightly on the stem. Fenton made this pattern from 1910-1912. This pretty compote is in good condition with no chips or cracks and a lovely iridescence.
