This squat shaped stoneware pitcher is signed and dated J B 1912 on the bottom. The glaze is very dark brown to black depending on the light. It has the concentric circles inside of a hand made piece. I believe this pitcher was made by an individual for personal use. It looks nice and would work well as a vase, to hold utensils in the kitchen, or be a primitive decoration.
