This stretch glass bowl was made by Fenton in the 1920's. It is their version of vaseline stretch glass which Fenton named topaz. The bowl has wonderful fluorescence is shown in the 3rd and 4th photos. There are a couple areas of faint marks on the exterior. Both areas are shown in the 13th picture. There is a flaw on the bottom of the bowl. It is a round spot which is highlighted in the 20th picture. This spot can not be felt. The area is smooth to the touch on both the interior and exterior. Not being able to feel anything makes me wonder if the spot is a flaw in the iridescence that occurred when iridescent spray was applied to the glass. I think that is likely but do not know for sure. Overall this approximately 100 year old bowl is a beautiful piece to use and or display.
