This uniquely shaped blue opalescent coin spot bowl was made by Fenton. It dates to the late 1930's or early 1940's. This bowl is a tall two sides up shape. It is similar to the shape of Fenton's mid size basket. But, unusually it never had a handle added. This makes for an attractively shaped rather unique piece. This bowl is a wonderful medium light blue color with nice opalescence. It is in good condition overall however it does have a name etched into the bottom. It looks as though a previous owner used a laser pointer to etch "vasa" into the base. A close up of this is shown in the 23rd picture. There is also a minor inclusion in the side of the bowl. That is shown in the last two photos. Overall this is a wonderful Fenton bowl. It would be beautiful and unique addition to a collection.
