Antique handled plate with roses made by Unger & Schilde imported by John H Roth

This antique handled cake plate is decorated with pink and yellow roses on a blue and white background. The roses are realistic and beautiful. They are enhanced with hand decorated highlights. There is some wear to the blue color but overall this plate is in good used condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It has a three crown china mark on the back. This mark was used on pieces made by Unger & Schilde and imported by John H Roth between 1909 & 1916. Unger & Schilde was a pottery in Roschuetz, Thuringia, Germany. John H Roth (or 'Jonroth') was an importer in South Bend Indiana. This lovely over 100 year old plate is a great piece to add to a collection.
