This blue and white glazed stoneware butter crock is made in the scarce basketweave and daisy pattern. According to my research this pattern is uncommon and was made from 1905 to 1925. This piece is about 4 & 1/4 inches tall and 6 inches across the bottom. It has one chip on the inside rim. There is also a small repaired chip on the base and another small base chip that has not been touched. It is colored a lovely medium blue shade. There are a couple spots were the glaze fired wrong and caused a deep cobalt spot. This is a beautiful piece of stoneware with no cracks or hairlines.
