This set of vintage Iowa license plates is from 1949. They were issued in county number 25. That is the number for Dallas County. It is in the south central area of the state next to the capital, Des Moines. These plates have white numbers on a black waffle textured background. One of the plates shows wear on the left edge from about halfway up the side to below the 25. These are in good vintage condition otherwise. It is somewhat hard to find a matching set of vintage plates in this condition. This pair would be a nice addition to a license plate collection. They would also be great to use on a restored 1949 vehicle.
