Galvanized toy wringer made by Wolverine and a small galvanized wash tub. This is a fully functional toy with a neat mechanical look. It dates to the 1940's or 50's. The wringer has its original box which is marked '8-A Wolverine Toy Wringer'. The tub is 8 1/4 inches across the top and 3 3/8 inches tall. The number 6 is impressed into the bottom. There is one small, round, hole just below the rim possibly for hanging up the tub. There are no other holes or dents. This tub does have wear from use on the inside and what looks like silver paint on the outside. The body of the wringer is galvanized steel and the wringers are hard rubber. It has a wood handle on a galvanized steel arm attached with a cotter pin. The wringer is 5 3/8 inches long not including the handle, 2 3/4 inches wide, and sits 2 3/8 inches above the tub when attached. Its box is in poor condition. It has tears and is taped together.
