Attractive oil on canvas painting depicting a Provençal landscape with ancient olive trees in the foreground; in the background, the silhouette of a village along the Mediterranean Sea. French School from the early 20th century and unknown artist (possible residual signature in the bottom left corner). The repainted gilt frame has a few signs of wear, crackling and minor loss of ornamentation but is in good general condition (see photos).
