Subject hunting scene of a pointer gun dog which is carrying a dead game bird in the Scottish country moors. In full side profile facing left view set in open countryside moors, a sole tree is in the background along with bushes.
Medium pencil & watercolour on paper.
Set in a later traditional frame which is a nice small size with the frame being 25 cm wide and 17 cm high.
Initial signed on the bottom right by the British artist J.O.
Circa early Victorian era dated July 1846.
