An antique Victorian period sterling silver dress or belt buckle by Gorham, ca. 1875-1900. It has a hand wrought scroll, foliate, bead and fan design. It is marked sterling with the Gorham period hallmark and 170 on the reverse. It measures approximately 3.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches long and weighs approximately 64 grams. The buckle is in excellent condition with no damage or defects.
