This delightful vintage child’s plate shows three children sitting on a picnic bench with their baskets. The plate measures 7” in diameter and has a 1” high edge with a green border. The maker’s mark on the back in green says Noritake, Hand Painted, Made in Japan, with a large M inside a wreath. This is known as the Morimura Wreath Mark, used between 1921 and the early 1940s. The plate is in great condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. The paint on the border is a bit worn, and there are a few places where the paint in the children’s clothes is chipped, but overall a charming scene.
