Rose Cut Diamond Cluster ring, Late Victorian - image 1 of 5

This is a nice 18 carat gold (marked) rose cut diamond cluster ring. It is circa 1890, and in excellent wearable condition . We have 8 rose cut diamonds in a cluster. They are mostly closed backed with one opening in the back of the mount. The ring is a size 6, but could be altered by someone used to working with antique jewelry. The ring weighs 3.66 grams, While we can not weigh antique diamonds the same way we weigh modern ones, I can say, by using a size tool which I have, that the center diamond is between the size of a .20 and a .33 diamond, the the other diamonds are basically the same size, and the round setting measures roughly 3/8 inches in diameter. These late Victorian rings are always good bargains, and I always buy them when I can.
