This is a lovely circa 1790 Flat cut garnet ring, It is fashioned from 18 carat gold, unmarked but tested, and it has 4 smaller rose cut diamonds set in silver. The ring is a size 6b and 3/4, but could be resized by a jeweler used to working with antique jewelry. It is in excellent condition, and it weighs 1.95 grams. and is a fine example of an early ring,
