This is a lovely late Victorian (ca 1900) coral necklace. I love the way it drapes around the neck, which is why one must show the piece draped around a neck. I actually bought this in Paris, France, at an antique jewelry store. The beads are threaded with an 18 carat (unmarked but tested) chain, and the central round drop is also 18 carat gold. The necklace itself, from top to bottom ,measures 17 and 3/4 inches long, and 3/4 of an inch wide at the widest point. The part which goes around the neck measures 15 inches. This piece would be lovely on a black sweater, or shown against skin with a open or scooped neck top. It is in excellent, original, condition, The piece weighs 8.47 grams
