These are lovely Victorian Micro mosaic earrings. They are crafted from 15 carat, unmarked but tested, gold. They have these lovely, colorful mosaic butterflies on a bed on onyx. Together they weigh 6.21 grams. They measure 1 and 3/4 inches , in length, counting to the bottom of the cone shaped dangle which is so typical of Victorian jewelry, and about 3/4 of an inch in width . The stone has a beautiful gold surround, and these earrings are in excellent condition.. They are circa 1860-70.
