This is a nice hard stone cameo ring featuring Julius Caesar. The cameo is a 19th century one, circa 1850, but the shank , 9 carat, unmarked but tested, is a fairly modern one. This is a nice sized, substantial ring. The top of the ring measures a little over 7/8 of an inch North to South, and 5/8 of an inch East to West. This ring is in excellent condition, and it weighs 8.63 grams.
