This is a beautiful, small but mighty, memorial, mourning locket. It has beautiful enamel work on the front featuring Lilies of the Valley. Inside there is lovely hair work (Prince of Wales Plume) and the inscription "W.P. Howard died 14th Jan 1862 aged 19. So very poignant. The locket is crafted from 18 carat gold, unmarked but tested. It is in excellent condition and the clasp is tight. It weighs 3.40 gram. This is a beauty!
