This is a lovely, flat cut garnet pendant. It is set in silver (unmarked but tested sterling), and is circa 1760. It is in excellent condition, and the photo speaks for itself. It's shaped like a basket of flowers featuring what I would call a pansy, and it has the look of other similar pieces of pansy jewelry. The Pansy is a popular motif in antique jewelry. Pansy translates to "think of me." This piece measures one inch and one half East to West, and one inch North to South. It weighs 4.6 grams. This is a lovely, wearable piece.
