This is a nice , early ring which features a center sapphire in a rose cut diamond surround . The stones are close backed as they were then. It has a nice, wavy band fashioned from unmarked but tested 18 carat gold. the diamonds are set in silver as they always were at this time. The ring is circa 1830.It is a size 6 and 1/4, but could be resized. It weighs 3.6 grams. This is a nice, wearable, early ring.
