I must admit that Art Deco is not one of my favorite styles, but I love anything to do with tea, and I got a chance, in London, to buy several tea strainers, and two are very Art Deco. This one is fully hallmarked, British sterling, minted in Sheffield in 1928 J D and S. This piece is in excellent condition. the photo shows a dark spot in the bowl, and that is a mystery to me, because it is clearly some sort of shadow that moves around as the strainer is moved. I guess it could be tarnish, and I'll check that out, but there is no damage.
