This is a nice silver (sterling) picture frame. Believe me, when you start getting sterling frames, you are ruined forever for silver colored frames, or silver plated frames. The sterling ones do not tarnish as quickly, and when they do, it's easy to rub them clean with a silver cloth. If this one doesn't sell soon, I'll probably add it to my own collection, because it is a good size. It measures almost 6 inches long, and almost 4 inches wide. The picture opening is 5 and 1/8 long, and 3 and 1/4 wide. The frame is in good condition with its original wood back. The hallmarks are fully visible declaring that this frame is crafted of English sterling silver, minted in Birmingham in the year 1925, by the makers, "S & M." The frame is in good usable condition.
