I love these Georgian bracelets. I have one with a hand clasp, and there's a good chance I'll keep this one if it doesn't sell pretty soon. I'm sure, in circa 1800 when this bracelet was created, it was supposed to be 18 carat gold. Those Georgians did not have digital testers back then, and they also mixed gold, so every Georgian chain I've ever tested tests 14 carat. The stones in the clasp are crysolite. The bracelet is in excellent condition with a good strong clasp. The bracelet measures 8 inches long, not counting the "male" part of the clasp. The bracelet weighs 9 grams. These Georgian chains are always light. That's a sure way for one to tell they aren't reproductions.
