This is a beauty. I've had a few customers asking me for some time for Georgian eternity or half hoop rings, and like it always is, when people want a specific thing, they seem to disappear. This one has a gold shank (10 carat, unmarked but tested), and the garnets are almandine ones , set in silver. This one is so pretty on. There are 9 garnets, , and the shank is a split one. The ring is a size 6 and 1/4 to 6 and 1/2, and it is in very good condition. It is circa 1800, and it weighs 2.5 grams, and the band with the garnets is 1/8 of an inch wide. The garnets are nicely matched in size. These are getting much harder to find that diamonds.
