This is a real beauty. The foiled, closed back rose cut diamond really have a lot of sparkle. The stones are set in silver, as they always were at that time, but the shank is 18 carat, unmarked, but tested gold. The back of the ring has the so called basket back, which is always a nice mark of an early ring. The ring weighs 3.8 grams, and the Marquis part of the ring measures 3/4 of an inch North to South, and 1/2 an inch East to West. The ring also features two small diamonds on each shoulder. Rings in this excellent shape, this old, are hard to find.
