This is such a lovely Victorian (circa 1890) with diamonds, rubies, and a sapphire. It is crafted of unmarked but tested 18 carat yellow gold. It is a size 5 and 3/4 , but could be altered by someone used to working with antique jewelry. The band measures between 1/8 and 1/4 of an inch wide. The sapphire is the largest stone, and while one can not weigh Victorian stones the same as those of today, my measuring tool shows the sapphire to have the span of a 1/3 carat stone. The diamonds are just under the size of the sapphire at span of 1/4 carat. The rubies are just a little smaller than the diamonds. The ring is in excellent condition, and it weighs 3.2 grams. This is such a pretty ring on the finger; I am really tempted to keep it myself and wear it, sometimes , on my wedding ring finger, at it is a durable, sturdy ring. Alas, it is about 1/2 size too big for my finger, so I am offering it for sale.
