This is a lovely, circa 1790, flat cut garnet ring. My photos don't really capture the color because, when the light strikes the garnet, they appear a lovely rose pink. The ring is a size 6, and crafted from 10 carat yellow gold, unmarked but tested. It is in excellent condition, and could be resized by someone used to working with antique jewelry. The ring weighs 1.67 grams. Note: There are no spots on the stone. The discoloration in the photo with the ring on a finger is light glare.
