This is a beautiful circa 1760 silver pendant, set with diamond chips and rubies. Most likely it started its life as an earring, though it would have been quite a large, heavy earring, and I think it is much better suited as a pendant. The piece measures 2 inches North to South, and 1 inch East to West. It weighs 1.16 grams. The stones are closed backed and set in unmarked but tested sterling silver. The piece is in excellent condition for it's age, and would grace the neck of anyone.
