Of all the agate stones used in Scottish "pebble" jewelry, malachite is my favorite. This anchor brooch is in excellent condition, with it's original pin with "c" clasp and "t"hinge but it can also easily be worn as a pendant as it has a silver ring on top. This lovely piece is unmarked but tested English silver (sterling), and it is in excellent condition. It measures a little under 2 and 1/2 inches long, and 1 and 1/2 inches wide. It is circa 1870, and it weighs 7.8 grams,
