This is one of those pieces I had to have, when I saw it. It's Spanish, and quite early. I'm saying 1770, but it may well be earlier. It is of silver gilt, and it has quite a lot of jewel power with diamonds, rubies, natural pearls, and enamel forget-me-nots. The peace weighs 25.96 grams, and measures 2 ad 5/8 inches long, and 2 inches wide. It is in very good condition. There is some minor enamel loss to the forget-me-nots. One of my favorite motifs has always been the bow, so I particularly like that aspect of this work of art.
