This is a lovely, full calf leather volume of Wordsworth's Poetical Works. The book is not dated, but I am certain, from my collecting and studying books and their bindings, it is circa 1850-60. The volume contains 8 still engravings, and was published in Edinburgh by Gall and Inglis, 6 George St. The book is in very good condition for it's age, with a tight binding, and gold tooling on the front and spine The pages are gilded, and the book measures 6 and 3/4 by 4 and 1/2 inches, and is an inch and 3/8 deep. These leather volumes are work of art; no one is binding books quite in this way any more, and the ones who comes the closest, like Easton Press, are much more expensive.
