This is a nice leather prayer book, with the brass clasp. It is in good condition; there is a split on the leather in the spine, but it doesn't go through the binding, so no daylight shows, and the binding is tight, This split could be covered with a black magic marker, and it would never be seen. The prayer book is circa 1865, and it has a gift inscription inside, and then a second inscription where is was owned by someone else in 1934. The pages of the volume are gilded, and the book measures 5 inches North to South, 3 and 1/4 inches East to West, and is 1 inch and 1/4 thick.
