I love this item, and it is quite unusual. It's a quizzer (magnifying glass) circa 1895. It is sterling silver, tested but unmarked, and the amazing thing about it is that even the rim, holding the glass, is sterling. It is in excellent condition, an the glass is in good shape and it does magnify. This piece weighs 4.4 ounces. It measures 6 and 1/2 inches tall, and the diameter of the rim, holding the glass, is 3 and 3/8 inches in diameter. This is a very special item.
