This is a beautiful little tulip vase, Staffordshire, circa 1870. It features a boy and girl on either side of the tulip. The colors are still vibrant cobalt blue, green, and pink with some gold trim. The piece is in excellent condition except for a small chip on the back of one of the curves of the top of the tulip. It really isn't very noticeable, so it doesn't detract. It can be felt, and it shows in the photo, much larger than it actually is as I have used a macro lens. The piece measures 6 and 1/2 inches North to South, and 4 and 1/2 inches wide. It needs a good bath, and there's no extra charge for the authentic, antique English dirt it is wearing!
