This is a lovely little silver change purse on a chatelaine. It is sterling, perhaps French. There is a mark, pictured, that I do not recognize, and I thought I detected the little French silver mark, but am not certain. I do know the purse is sterling, and in excellent condition. It is circa 1900, and measures, from the top of the chatelaine, 7 and 1/2 inches long. It is 2 and 1/4 inches East to West. This is a great item for a vanity, a collector of chatelaines, or a collector of purses.
