This is a wonderful little day planner of 1868. It's red leather, with a little pencil inside, and it measures 4 1/2 inches North to South, and 3 and 1/4 inches East to West. It has never been used, so it is in mint condition. I imagine it might have been a young lady's graduation gift which she was saving, or never go the chance to use. There is a little tear where the clasp has been opened, but it's slight and I just push the "tongue" from the bottom to keep it from tearing further. This little book has steel engravings, an Almanack, blank pages on which to write, marketing tables, etc. The pages are gilded.
