This is one of the nicest, and most delicate pieces of Staffordshire that I have ever seen. It is the young Queen Victoria, holding her first son and heir, the Prince of Wales, and the future Edward VII. The piece is in excellent condition with no cracks, and it features the beautiful, cobalt blue in the Queen's gown. Unlike many Staffordshire pieces, this one has gold trim, and the the delicate work on the back of the Queen's chair which I suppose is meant to represent her robe, is outstanding. This piece is 5 and 1/2 inches tall, and the base is 2 and 3/8 inches in diameter, and is circa 1850. This would certainly be a great addition to any Staffordshire or Queen Victoria collection.
