This is a very nice hair brooch. It is 9 ct gold., has beveled glass, and white hair, which is often more prized than other hair colors. The brooch has the original "C" clasp and "t" hinge. It measures 1 and 5/8 inches East to West, and 1 inch North to South. It is engraved on the back as follows: "Rev. J. Hoxley, died December 28, 1879.
